Short story

A few years back I was working at a recording studio in NYC where David Bowie happened to be making a record. One morning we both get into the elevator at the same time and head to the studio floor. Joining us in the elevator were two older women- most likely secretaries from some random office in the building. Half way thru the ride, one of the ladies turns around and says to Bowie: Lady: "I recognize you!". Bowie: "Oh, hello dear. Nice to meet you". Lady: "I recognize you!! You was on General Hospital". Bowie: "Why yes, that was me! I'm so glad you enjoy the show, thank you [smiles]". The lady finally reaches her floor and scurries away with an excited look on her face. As the door closes, Bowie shakes his head at me and we both laugh.
