So I was 4th row at the MANIA Tour and I had this sign that said "I paid $600 for these tickets and all I got was Pete Wentz to notice me" in the hopes he'd find it funny and wave or something.
He noticed it as soon as I put it up, stopped where he was, made eye contact with me, nodded, fist bumped and held it so I could get a picture, and when I freaked out over it he smiled and nodded again in aknowledgement!
He spent the rest of the show looking over at me, smiling/nodding to my dance moves/the fact I knew all the words/was having a BALL at the show, and he kept pausing for me to take pictures, and even tried to throw his guitar pick to me at the end of the show!
I met him at a pop up shop two days later and the first thing he says is, "I remember you!" and then proceeds to be super nice and comforting and easy to talk to (I was shaking during this meet and greet tbh) and he let me hold his hand for the picture and give him a long-ish hug afterwards, thanking me for the support before I left
He was super interactive at the show and made my night, and it was incredibly thoughtful how he remembered me a few days later and was nothing but sweet to me. I know there's bad stories of him from the past, but present day I can totally say this guy really loves and cares about his fans.
