Yes, he certainly could HAVE said it more nicely. (Assuming this story's even true). In all fairness, though, being a fan of someone doesn't mean you own them. Lots of celebrities and quasi-celebrities are on Instagram and Twitter. They don't respond to every message they get, nor could they be expected to by a reasonable person. I suspect we're not hearing both sides of this story here...

In all fairness, even famous people like to have a quiet meal now and then.

The celebs make enough money bc of their fans, they can get over themselves!

He played one of the most hated TV characters ever, I guess he's not that different from Ross, big asshole on the screen and real life

I don't remember Ross being an asshole so much as he was a wimp.

Hated, not so much. But he doesn't want to be remembered as Ross (sorry David but you will be). But it was allegedly a restaurant.

Yes but if people get the impression all celebs love fans and will sign shit at all hours and occasions, they would never have peace or a private life.Sure he could've been nicer, but honestly, asking someone to sign a bulky item in a restaurant is kind of rude and awkward. I feel ya, but I feel for him too.

Schwimmer is infamous for not signing things, especially Friends merch. What exactly is someone supposed to hand you, David? The "Breast Men" poster they have hanging in their bedroom??!! Get a clue. No-one has seen anything of you in 15 years. Let's keep it that way.
