Nice and funny

I met RD on the UC Berkeley campus where I was a student. He was with the actor Fisher Stevens, at a table for an event encouraging students to register vote. This was the late 80s. He was really nice and funny, and asked me a lot of questions about myself and school. I was a big fan and told him so. He was genuinely thankful and gracious. I really rooted for him when he had his struggles. So glad he is on top now.
