'If you're gonna talk to me, talk through my assistant'

My dad is a pilot for American and Oprah flies out of American and a flight attendant told my dad that apparently she wouldn't look at her because she was "lower class" and that she made her assistant talk to the flight attendant. Was very rude to her and the rest of the workers.

In 2011, I was flying from Miami to NYC and Katie Couric was seated behind me in coach. Well, I had just woken up from a short nap and hear "excuse me" from behind me.It was Katie. She handed me a little business card case I carried my license and cash in. It had fallen out of my bag and slid back to her seat. I was drowsy and I kind of think I came off a little standoffish because she was so nice. But I was also thinking "wow, Im sitting in front of Katie couric." and I never get starstruck. She and her daughter spent the flight discussing intellectual topcs.

I hate rich and famous celebrities that are thinking they're above everyone whose not like them. Sort of makes people want to give her a taste of her own medicine. I saw her on a documentary about Auschwitz death camp with Elie Wiesel and her reactions ether looked fake or like she was trying too hard to be saddened by what happened there. I didn't believe her emotions at all but Elie Wiesel sure showed he remembered the horrors of the second world war and his reactions were real.
