I had no idea it took that long to smoke crack

I met Mos Def at the MTV building in NY. I was 16 at the time and I was sitting with Kurt Loder and some other teenagers at a round table. All the cameras were setup and everyone was being real quiet. Mos Def walks in and sits down and says "I am so sorry everyone. I had no idea it took that long to smoke crack." He was really funny. I had a hat on backwards (late 90s), and when he took a picture with me, he acted like a nerdy white guy (double thumbs up in the picture), and he told me to look all gangster.
