He does that because doesn't want people to view him as a celebrity. Remember, he collaborates on projects with fans all of the time on HitRecord. If he did the celebrity thing, his work outside of acting wouldn't be viewed the same way.

I went to Van Nuys high school where he went to school and he was VERY nice. The reason I heard he doesn't give autographs is because he doesn't feel that people should ask someone like him (actor) but an astronaut, someone searching for the cure for cancer... You know...someone who really matters and is making a difference in this world. I think it's pretty cool actually. I think he's just trying not to get too full of himself?

If he just doesn't sign autographs full stop, then that is not mean behaviour. It is just him. He didn't do anything mean to you or anyone else.
