I met Chuck Norris when I was tending bar at the Stardust Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in around 1995 or so.....he was there because of a martial arts convention at the Stardust....
I worked at the pool bar, and he was hanging out m the pool....my son was coming to the convention that next day, and my son was also taking martial arts and was at 11 years old, now a black belt....his favorite person was Chuck Norris.....so to make my son very happy, I went out where Chuck Norris was talking to a bunch of girls at the pool (wonder if he was married at the time) - anyway, I went out and told him that my son would be here for the convention tomorrow and would love to meet you in person.....
and then Chuck Norris looked me in the eye, and just plain lied to me, he told me that he was Chuck Norris's double.....I said, no way....you're Chuck Norris.....he said, no I am not....I am his double.......and I said, why would you lie, why don't you just say yes it would be a pleasure to meet your 11 year old son who thinks that I am great.....but no - - he kept lying, saying that he was his double - just to get out of meeting my son..........
I have never watched anything he has ever done again, and we used to watch Walker Texas Ranger, another one of my sons favorite shows back then.......but ever since that no good liar treated my boy that way, I've lost all respect for Chuck Norris......what a jerk.
