I had no idea he was British

I worked at a wine shop in Baltimore and met a lot of folks from the Wire. Dominic West cCame in all the time. Was super nice. The “wow” part was when I first met him and he spoke with an English accent. I had no idea he was British so I kind of gave him a strange look. He picked up on it and said “You didn’t know I was British, did you?” I laughed with embarrassment and said “No. You must get that a lot around here.” He laughed and said, “Yes. Yes, I do.”
