I expected good things..

I worked backstage at Fair Saint Louis 2004 (just looked it up). I worked with the catering for the talent because my aunt was in charge of the backstage area. I met all six of the acts that worked backstage. I expected good things from Al Green. He's a minister. And he has a reputation as a great performer. But he was an asshole. Nothing we could do was right. He never sang any of his popular songs, even the non-sexual ones (which are?). And he hated my city.
